| 国籍不詳の文筆家。本名ドナルディエ＝リヒトホーフェン・リンム＝コズィロフスキ・ぷ〜れん。経歴については不明な点が多く，その生涯は謎に包まれている。しかしながら，近年研究が進み，幾つかの事実が明らかになってきた。サン・ジェルマン＝アン・レーに生まれた彼は，５才で神童と謳われ，パリ日仏音楽院でバーバラ寺岡に対位法，キャシー中島におせち料理を師事。その後，狂牛病禍吹き荒れる英国へ渡り，オックスフォード大学モードリン校へ進学。1999年「ガブリエル・フォレとクローン羊ドリーの統語論的関係について」で博士号を得た。同年，国際的な音楽文人育成のため，マーガレット王女財団の助成を受けて誕生した【オックスフォード大学クイーンズ校】の初代校長へ就任。その後は同校で著作活動の傍ら，後進の育成にあたった。閉鎖的な楽壇には背を向けたため，日本でその活動を知る人は少ないが，フランス近代音楽の熱心な愛好者であった彼は，世界的にその評価が低いことを嘆き，私財を投じて2000年，同校構内に【あんぐらCD博物館】を創設。当時はまだ知られていなかったユビキタス概念をいち早く提唱し，誰でもタダで，どこからでもアクセスできる，本格的な近現代音楽辞典の構築プロジェクトを始動させた。彼の試みは，楽壇では現在でもなお異端視され，全く評価されていない。しかし，既にその思想に共鳴し，数名の若手研究者や音楽家が同大学付属研究院の上級研究員へ就任。演奏活動や文献研究を通じ，着実にその勢力を広げつつある。彼の著述はのちに多くが散逸したが，弟子たちの手で断片的ながら著作集の編纂が進められた。近年，アマゾーヌ社から著作集の電子版として復刊され，現在でも入手可能である。（参考文献：楊威利 (2004): 「ぷ〜れん」. 『ネオグローブ音楽事典，邦訳版』pp. 192-195） | ||||||
| The legendary administrator, Dr.Pullen 'K.S.' Donald is known for his long standing enthusiasm of modern classical music. Although his biographical information is largely remained unclear, some biographers has quoted that he comes from Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Paris. He entered Franco-Japanese Conservatory of Paris where he studied aesthetics. After the graduation, he emigrated to England for entering University of Oxford, Maudrin College and obtained his Ph.D. with the dissertation entitled 'Lexical syntax between the name of the First Cloned Sheep and Gabriel Fauré' in 1999. In the same year, he was appointed the director of University of Oxford, Queen's College. Then the following year, he founded a music institute called 'The underground Museum' there, and started to create the first private web-dictionary of modern classical composers in the world under the name. Currently, there are several senior fellows and anonymous performers working in the museum for updating the dictionary and performing the underrated composers to enbroaden their fame(Yang, W.L. 2004.
